We are a Finnish family-owned company operating in Eastern Finland.
OK-WINDER® manufactures genuine, original, high-quality, and durable devices for the installation and maintenance of industrial sectional doors and residential garage doors. All our equipment is designed and manufactured based on over 25 years of hands-on door installation experience – from professionals for professionals.
All our products are manufactured in Finland, in Northern Savonia, using modern production methods. Our devices and their packaging are fully recyclable.

OUR STORY
The founder of our company, Olli Kääriäinen, has over 25 years of experience in installing industrial overhead doors and garage doors. This expertise, combined with the personal need to develop safer working methods, has guided the creation and evolution of our products.
TIMELINE
2006:
THE FIRST DRILL-POWERED SPRING TENSIONING DEVICE IS DEVELOPED.
2016:
AFTER NUMEROUS DEVELOPMENT VERSIONS AND EXPERIMENTS, THE PROTOTYPE OF THE CURRENT OK-WINDER® 500 SPRING TENSIONING TOOL IS COMPLETED.
2017:
INTERNATIONAL TRADE BEGINS – ESTONIA.
2018:
OK-WINDER® 500 TEST DEVICES ARE DELIVERED TO GERMANY – SALES EXPAND TO OTHER PARTS OF EUROPE.
2019:
ORDER VOLUMES INCREASE, AND DEVICES ARE SOLD TO NORTH AMERICA FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE RESELLER NETWORK BEGINS TO FORM.
2020:
AN EMPLOYEE IS HIRED FOR SALES AND INVOICING.
2022:
NEW WEBSITE AND ONLINE SHOP ARE LAUNCHED. THE PRODUCT RANGE EXPANDS WITH THE OK-WINDER® 200 SPRING TENSIONING TOOL FOR GARAGE DOORS AND THE OK-LIFTER® LAMELLA LIFTER.
THE RESELLER NETWORK GROWS, AND PRODUCTS ARE SOLD IN ASIA.
2024:
INDUSTRIAL DOOR INSTALLATION WORK IS DISCONTINUED, AND GARAGE DOOR SALES ARE PHASED OUT. A GENERATIONAL TRANSITION BEGINS AS OLLI KÄÄRIÄINEN’S SON, PAAVO KÄÄRIÄINEN, JOINS THE COMPANY.
2025:
THE OK-WINDER® RACK TRANSPORT RACK IS ADDED TO THE ONLINE SHOP.
OK-WINDER® PRODUCTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SOLD TO OVER 25 COUNTRIES.
